After hearing the song “I Need You” for the first time during a live, on-air radio promotion, HV DJ Woodman proclaimed “that's the best song I've heard in a long time.” “I Need You” also placed as a finalist within the country genre in a VH-1 Save the Music sponsored Song of the Year contest.
