In 2000, Ira Berman, currently NBC Universal Ad Sales, bass player and prior successful live music booking agent and concert promoter, founded Media All Stars, a live music and charity event where he and his media colleagues got a chance to explore their rock band gigging days of years past. Once launched, the event became a huge running success, with audiences growing in the thousands over the past few years Over time, the event became yearly, attracting star power and classic NYC venues such as B.B. Kings, The Cutting Room, and the Village Underground.
Following a four year absence, the Media All Stars are back! On June 28th, the event makes its triumphant return to The Cutting Room, where weekend warrior rock stars of the media industry, such as headliner Lester Holt and the Rough Cuts, get to play on the same stage previously graced by music royalty such as Sting, Lady Gaga, David Bowie and more. Proceeds from the $20 cover charge will benefit Olivia Hope Foundation (oliviahope.org). Don’t miss the media industry’s top social networking/music event, live and in person!
